Are you a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Emerald Teaching is recruiting on behalf of our partner secondary schools across Greater Manchester for talented teachers who are committed to delivering engaging and inspiring Computer Science lessons.

About the Role

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
* Inspire students to develop their knowledge of computing, programming, and digital technologies.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
* Effectively manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Previous experience teaching Computer Science within UK secondary schools is desirable.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
