About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and effective lessons, nurturing students’ academic growth, and supporting their overall development. Your duties will include:

  • Designing and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum to meet the needs of all students.
  • Monitoring student progress, providing both formal and informal assessments, and adjusting teaching strategies to support individual learning needs.
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to feel safe, confident, and motivated.
  • Supporting students’ emotional and social development, promoting positive behavior and well-being.
  • Adapting lessons to ensure all learners, regardless of ability, can participate and succeed.
  • Maintaining communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and any areas of concern.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to curriculum delivery and share ideas for best practice.
  • Participating in school events and extracurricular activities to contribute to the wider school community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in Primary Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching primary-aged children across Key Stages 1 and 2 (preferred but not essential).
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young children to achieve their best.
  • Strong classroom management skills, creating a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons for diverse student needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Enhanced DBS check (on the update service or willingness to undergo one).
